Οι melodic death metallers Insomnium κυκλοφόρησαν στις 24 Φεβρουαρίου το ένατο full length τους, “Anno 1696”, μέσω της Century Media Records, το οποίο, στη limited version του, συνοδευόταν με το EP “Songs Of The Dusk”.
Η μπάντα αποφάσισε να κυκλοφορήσει και ξεχωριστά το εν λόγω EP στις 3 Νοεμβρίου, δίνοντας μάλιστα στη δημοσιότητα το video single του ομώνυμου κομματιού, δια χειρός Riivata Visuals.
