Οι Rosewood Brothers είναι ένα οκταμελές, και πλέον, σχήμα από την Αθήνα. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2009 και έφτιαξαν ένα δικό τους ύφος που βασίζεται στον παραδοσιακό αμερικάνικο blues ήχο, χωρίς να λείπουν αναφορές σε soul, funk και rock στοιχεία.
Το συγκρότημα άρχισε τις ζωντανές εμφανίσεις στην Αθήνα το Μάιο του 2010 στο 10o Ευρωπαϊκό Jazz Festival. Από τότε έχουν εμφανιστεί στις περισσότερες αθηναϊκές μουσικές σκηνές και σε αρκετές εκδηλώσεις.
Τον Απρίλιο του 2011 κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο τους mini-LP με τίτλο Homemade Music, το οποίο μοιράστηκε δωρεάν σε 1000 αντίτυπα σαν ένα ευχαριστώ σε όλους όσους υποστήριξαν τη μπάντα στα πρώτα της βήματα. Το CD απέσπασε πολύ καλές κριτικές, ενώ φιλοξενήθηκε και ως δίσκος του μήνα σε γνωστά μουσικά περιοδικά. Το CD είναι διαθέσιμο στην τοποθεσία http://bit.ly/rY3ogc σε ψηφιακή μορφή.
Αυτό τον καιρό οι Rosewood Brothers έχουν έτοιμο το νέο single με τίτλο I Got Mine Woman / Pray For A Better Day, το οποίο κυκλοφορεί σε 10″ βινύλιο από την The Lab Records. Στα πλαίσια της προώθησης της νέας δουλειάς εμφανίζονται σε full band μορφή έως και 14 άτομα επί σκηνής. Μερικοί απ’ τους μουσικούς-φίλους που τους πλαισιώνουν είναι μέλη γνωστών συγκροτημάτων της ελληνικής σκηνής (The Raindogs!, Deus Ex Machina, The Last Drive, Swing Shoes, Earthbound, No Man’s Land).

Rosewood Brothers (small bio):
Rosewood Brothers is an eight-member band from Athens. With several performances they have earned enough of public support. Though the principal idea was a creation of a modern blues band, Rosewood Brothers didn’t hesitate to touch several other elements from funk, soul and rock fields and make them their own. The result is a solid, tight and groovy sound, enhanced with timbres of fuzzy guitars or sweet harmonica licks. With their first release of their mini-LP, entitled “Homemade Music”, they gathered some of their tracks, composed in different periods, with purpose to create a clear image of the band. With their new 10’’ vinyl, “I Got Mine Woman / Pray For A Better Day” by The Lab Records, the band is preparing live performances with participation of musicians-friends from other famous greek bands, such as The Raindogs!, Deus Ex Machina, The Last Drive, Swing Shoes, Earthbound, No Man’s Land.
